Students at the National University of Dnipro entitled Olesya Honchara, who in the future will become specialists in the tourism sector, had to opportunity to practice in Italy. We are talking first of all about young students from the faculties of tourism, food technology and hotel and restaurant business.

“Our students are provided with internships in the hotel and catering sector in southern Italy, scholarship, free travel, accommodation and 3 meals a day, Italian language courses, cooking, pastry and pizza-making courses, etc.” reports the university.
The other day it was signed by the president of the U.C.M. – Italy Association Paolo Brescia and the rector of the DNU named after Olesya Honchara, Serhyi Okovyty.
“The main objective of the agreement Is the practical training of specialists for the Ukrainian tourism industry”, emphasizes the DNU.
According to the signed agreement, the Italian side covers the costs of travel, accommodation and three meals a day for students during the entire internship in Italy. Free Italian language courses will also be held from November 2021 to May 2022.

The president of the U.C.M. – Italy Association, Paolo Brescia, underlined the main thing that students should learn in Italy: how to transform the Ukrainian tourism into a powerful tourism industry.
“Dnipro students are usually surprised that a small region of about four thousand inhabitants can serve several million tourist a year. The guarantee is that this region develops all types of tourism and recreation: mountains, seaside, food and wine, religious, maritime, etc.”, Mr. Brescia said.
According to the president of the U.C.M. – Italy Association, to study the Italian language students are grouped by majors. This is necessary to emphasize the study of specialized vocabulary.
“Those students who demonstrate a good knowledge of foreign languages and have completed the first internships, then move on to practice in the HR and managerial structures of various hotels. The tutors take care of the foreign students, providing them with all kinds of help.”, commented DNU.
